Our 3-star campsite in the Dordogne offers entertainment and activities for young and old alike during the summer months.
However, the campsite remains quiet because we want to maintain this relaxing atmosphere.
That’s why activities are only offered a few days a week.

At our small family campsite in the Dordogne, children quickly become independent and surrounded by friends. Children aged 6 and over meet up for two hours of activities every day of the week from 4pm to 6pm (except Saturdays).
On the program:
- Molkky game
- Team ball games
- Archery (suitable for children)
- Treasure hunt
- Games of skill
The children’s favorite spot is the playground. We’ve thought of the adults by installing benches nearby. The double swing, double seesaw and sandpit are sure to delight your children.
Near the playground, you’ll be able to take fun souvenir photos with our personalized headband.
The “l’isle ého” boat, new in 2024, will be an integral part of your children’s memories
The double trampoline, new in 2025, will be the place to meet up with friends on vacation in the Dordogne at our campsite near Périgueux.
Lively camping in Montpon
During the summer months, we offer a variety of daytime and evening activities.
The key word is conviviality. Become the champion of the Périgord campsite at the pétanque competition.
Fun and laughter are the order of the day at bingo evenings and musical quizzes.
Every Wednesday evening, we organize a dinner party, and we’re counting on you to warm up the dance floor during our evening dances and take the microphone during karaoke before returning to your mobile home rental in Périgord.
Once a week in July and August, you can try out the Dordogne campsite pool “by night”, swimming in the colorful atmosphere of the pool’s spotlights until 10:30 pm.
Leisure and activities at the Dordogne campsite
For a fun way to get into shape and learn more about the Périgord region, our hiking leader organizes hikes every Friday morning from the campsite. You can also take advantage of the one organized by the tourist office every Tuesday morning. The Chandos area, just a 3-minute walk from the campsite, is a great place for a stroll.
There’s also a children’s playground on site, and the footbridge takes you directly into the center of Montpon. You can also saddle up and ride along the banks of the Isle river on the voie verte cycle route that links Libourne to Périgueux, and discover the Isle valley.
Close to the campsite, on the banks of the Dordogne river, you’ll find the Grand étang de La Jemaye, ideal for fishing in the Dordogne, in the heart of the La Double forest, where you can enjoy swimming and signposted paths.
You can also choose Le lac de Gurson to relax on a sandy beach around the lake, on the edge of a pine forest.
