Practical information for your stay in the Dordogne
How to get to La Cigaline campsite
Wherever you’re coming from, if you’re taking the freeway, the various routes will take you through the center of Montpon before reaching the 3-star campsite in the Dordogne.
From Place Gambetta, where you’ll find the town hall, head up towards Isle on the D708 rue du Maréchal Foch, then turn left onto rue Thiers (D6089). At the traffic lights, turn right onto avenue du général de Gaulle (D708) for 500 meters. Just before the bridge, turn left onto rue de le paix, and you’ll see the campsite on your right.
The Montpon-Ménestérol train station, just 1 km from the campsite, is served by the TER Bordeaux-Périgueux line. Bergerac airport is 45 minutes away by car, and Périgueux less than an hour.
Before you arrive
– Access to Bergerac campsite with automatic barrier open from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm (pedestrian access outside these hours) – Reception opening times in July and August: 9.00 – 12.00 and 14.00 – 19.00 (opening times on request out of season) – Bar and snack bar opening times in July and August: 8am – 11pm minimum – Arrival from 2.00 pm and departure before 12.00 pm for bare pitches – Arrival from 15H00 and departure before 10H00 for mobile home rental in Dordogne
Pets accepted under certain conditions

- 2 animals maximum
- With surcharge
- Vaccination certificate required
- On a leash on the campsite and on your pitch
- Dogs must not be left alone on the pitch or in the accommodation.
Visitors
If you are receiving visitors, please inform us in advance and ask them to report to reception. Please note that visitors may not use the campsite swimming pool.
Shops close to the campsite
In the center of Montpon, just a 5-minute walk from our La Cigaline campsite in the Dordogne, you’ll find all the shops you need.
Butchers, bakers, tobacconists, hairdressers, grocery stores, health center and pharmacy, etc., you can also visit the shopping area just 1 km from our riverside campsite (Intermarché, Bricomarché, Lidl, Biocoop, veterinary clinic and many others).
