Moulin du Duellas and Gabare

The campsite is 7 km from Le Moulin. So it only takes 8 minutes to get there.
Le Moulin du Duellas
Kept in the same family for over a century , this milling heritage was used to produce flour, cut wood and distribute electricity. In 1997, this former water mill was transformed into a tourist and cultural site. Art exhibitions are held here throughout the season. Admission is free from May to September. Visit the museum and enjoy the art on display during your vacation at our campsite near Périgueux.
The gabare
From your mobile home in the Dordogne, take a guided cruise of over an hour aboard a gabare. This traditional boat will take you on a journey back in time to discover the daily life of the gabariers of yesteryear. You’ll be amazed by the wealth of flora and fauna you’ll encounter on this unusual trip. You’ll also experience the only manual lock still in operation. The tour is led by a professional team in a calm and relaxing setting from May to September.

The educational and ecological garden
This site is free to visit. Along the way, you’ll be guided by explanatory tapes to discover the various medicinal and aromatic plants found in the garden. The association “Pour les Enfants du Pays de Beleyme” organizes many workshops in this area. These fun activities for children highlight the rich natural heritage and variety of species that live not far from our riverside campsite in the Dordogne.
