Vacations in Gironde

Situated just a few kilometers from our 3-star campsite in the Dordogne, the Gironde department offers you the opportunity to discover a multitude of tourist sites, each more varied than the last.

If you want to spend the day by the ocean in Gironde, why not take the opportunity to climb Europe’s highest dune!

The Dune du Pilat awaits you with its 110 m high sand and 3 km long sand dune.

Once at the top, the reward is the magnificent view: you dominate the Landes forest and the Arcachon basin.

The Arcachon basin awaits you for a bite to eat or a stretch of fine sand. From Lège-Cap-Ferret to La Teste de Buch, there’s plenty to do in Gironde.

The Miroir d’Eau opposite the Place de la Bourse is a delight for children and parents alike. For a complete tour of the city of Bordeaux, try the little tourist train, which will take you through the narrow streets on a guided tour lasting just over an hour.
